Perfect treat for kids, The New Children's Museum

About San Diego

If you like treating your children on weekends, this is a place for you!

Exposing kids to the arts can be a real challenge. However, at the New Children's Museum, your little ones can learn about all types of art through hands-on exhibits.

Let them get creative in the Wet Studio or play on the graffiti-covered climbing wall. Meanwhile, you can enjoy some of the many art exhibits found here. What's really neat about the New Children's Museum is that it's the city's largest green building. It was constructed from recycled materials, and interactive exhibits help children learn about energy conservation while still having fun.

The New Children's Museum sits just east of the Seaport Village Shopping Center and is accessible via the trolley. Open every day except Wednesday, the museum maintains varying hours each day.
