Video: Mauna Lapse – From Sea to Summit

Some travelers intentionally visit countries where they could particularly climb famous mountains and dormant volcanoes and chance upon seeing the world in a different angle. Hawaii, for instance, is apparently not only famous for its beaches and laidback vacation experience but also for the outdoorsy activities that it offers to travelers.

The Upthink Lab, for example, climbed the Big Island’s Mauna Kea as well as Maui’s East Maui Volcano, and shared that “being above the inversions” of these summits was indeed a “memorable experience”. He further shares,
The weather was so predictable during our stay. Clear through the night and into sunrise, then the Trade Winds shift all the clouds into the Haleakala's crater around 9am.
