Video: Touring Mont Saint-Michel

With millions of travelers visiting Mont Saint-Michel every year, it only proves that this French landmark indeed offers something of value to pique just about anyone’s interest.

Located in Normandy, the commune of Mont Saint-Michel generally features two travel attractions that constantly draw more and more visitors each year.

Aside from the Notre-Dame Sous Terre Chapel, this rocky tidal island primarily boasts of the famous Abbey of Mont Saint Michel, which used to be a monastery and prison in the past. Travelers could tour this from 9 AM to 7 PM with admission fees of €9 for adults and only €5 for visitors between 18-25 years old.
